Ancestral knowledge & mythology
Research Fund

The Purpose of this Fund
This research fund was created to support long-term, in-depth inquiry into mythology, oral memory, and the ancestral knowledge held by elders of Amazonian communities. These forms of knowledge are not static records of the past, but living systems that continue to guide relationships with territory, community, and the natural world.
How the Research Is Carried Out
Through careful listening, shared time, and respectful collaboration, this work seeks to document and strengthen intergenerational knowledge transmission. Research processes are carried out in close dialogue with elders and communities, honoring their rhythms, languages, and cultural protocols, while creating living archives that remain connected to their places of origin.
Why Your Support Matters
By supporting this fund, you help sustain the conditions necessary for this research to happen: presence, trust, and continuity. Your contribution allows ancestral stories, teachings, and ways of knowing to remain alive, valued, and accessible to future generations—supporting cultural dignity, memory, and resilience.

Where someone tells and someone listens, memory remains alive.

From this shared moment, stories rise into the night. Under the sky, the stars remember the tales of origin

As elders speak, their words move slowly, like rivers that know their way.

And in attentive silence, the word becomes a seed

Every contribution brings us closer to documenting, understanding, and sharing the knowledge of the forest
